Dental implants

When teeth are extracted, implants can be used as a replacement. Such devices contain screws that are drilled into the jaw bone and thus serve as an artificial tooth root.

In our practice, we use only implant systems that has been proven and tested through scientific, long-term studies.

In situations where not enough bone is available, we perform bone augmentation, like a sinus lift for the maxillary defects or for smaller bone defects we use bone substitute material or the patient’s own bone. For large defects we use pelvic bone grafts.

Under the direction of the European Center For Dental Implantology, different centers in Europe work together with the obligation to provide a guideline- and evidence-based treatment, as well as the use of a uniform documentation system

Our practice is the only partner of the European Center for Dental Implantology (ECDI) in Switzerland.
